민망한 상황 말하기

Situation #1

A   Can i get something for you? Is there anything you need?

혹시 뭐 갖다 줄까? 뭐 필요한 거 있어?

     Can i get you some what? Integrity, that's what you need.

너한테 뭐가 필요한지 알아? 솔직함. 넌 그게 필요해.

(*Integrity : 진설성, 청렴함)

B   But i have that.

나 이미 있어.

Your fly is open.

너 남대문 열렸어.

(*fly : 바지 앞부분의 지퍼)

Yeah..

그래..

Situation #2

A   You know when you're talking, and you spit on someone?

말하다가 그럴 때 있잖아요, 누군가에게 침 튀겼을 때?

If you're talking to one of your best friends, and this happens, it usually goes like this.

당신과 가장 친한 친구 중 한 명과 얘기하다가, 이 일이 일어난다면, 주로 이렇게 전개가 됩니다.

B   Ugh, I know. That's exactly what i said.

흐어, 그니까. 내가 한 말이 바로 그거야.

So then i was just like..

그래서 내가 그냥...

(말하다가 침나옴)

A   Oh..  You got me!

오.. 당했네!

B   Literally!

진짜로!

A   Dude, say it don't spray it.

야, 침 튀기지 말고 말해.

Situation #3

A   I gotta take a leak.

나 오줌 마려워.

(*gotta : have got to / leak : 오줌 누기)

B   Haha, look at how high Blake's pants are.

하하, Blake 바지 올려 입은 것 좀 봐.

C   What a dweeb.

진짜 찌질하다.

(*dweeb : 샌님)

A   What, they're regular height.

뭐, 이거 일반적인 높이야.

B   Come on, Blake. We're in middle school.

Blake 제발, 우리 중학생이잖아.

C   Don't you know all the kid sag their pants now?

요즘에는 애들 다 바지 내려 입는 것 몰라?

(*sag : 축 늘어지다, 처지다)

A   So, I should wear them like this?

그러면, 이렇게 입으라고?

B   Finally.

드디어.

C   Good job.

잘했어.

A   What if i sag them further?

더 내려서 입으면?

  B,C   Whoa. Whoa.

B   I don't think you can handle that much cool.

네가 그만큼의 멋은 감당할 수 없다고 생각해.

(*handle : 다루다)

A   Ooh, you're scared of my sagging skills?
     오, 너희들 내 바지 내리기 실력이 무섭구나?

C   Whoa, seriously Blake.

워, Blake 진짜!

You're bordering on dangerously high levels of cool here!

너는 지금 위험할 정도로 높은 수준의 멋에 달하고 있다고!

A   Pft, Whateve.

풉, 어쩌라고.

Situation #4

A   What if someone you were talking to had something in thier teeth,

만약 대화 상대의 이빨 사이에 뭐가 껴있다면,

Would you say anything to them then?

그 사람한테 얘기해줄 거예요?

B   Is this what this video's about?

그게 이 영상의 주제인가요?

A   It might be.

그럴 수도 있어요.

C   Oh, you have something in your teeth!

오, 그쪽 이에 뭐 껴있어요.

A   Okay. Would you say anything to them?

알겠어요. 그 사람한테 얘기해줄 거예요?

D   Absolutely not.

절대 안하죠.

A   When did you first notice?

언제 처음 눈치챘어요?

D   Uh.. within the first question.
