[블랙프라이데이 영어표현]

요즘 Black Friday가 Hot Issue 죠! ㅎㅎ

그래서 오늘은 블랙프라이데이와 관련된 영어 표현들을 준비해보았습니다:)

자 그럼 공부 시작해보실까요!

1. 흥청망청 쇼핑할 거예요.

Situation #1

A   Since Mother's Day is coming up, today, we're doing a special challenge.

어머니의 날이 다가오니까, 오늘 저희는 특별한 도전을 할 거예요.

(*Mother's Day : 어머니의 날 / come up : 다가오다)

     We're gonna go on a shopping spree.

흥청망청 쇼핑할 거예요.

(*shopping spree : 흥청망청 쇼핑하기)

I'm gonna get an outfit for my mom.

전 엄마 옷을 골라드릴 거고요.

My mom's gonna get an outfit for me.

엄마는 제 옷을 골라주실 거예요.

For this challenge, we each get one hour to choose an outfit for each other.

이번 도전에서, 저희에겐 상대방의 옷을 고르는 시간으로 각자 한 시간씩 주어질 거예요.

Now, the catch is, I have to wear whatever she picks,

한 가지 조건은, 엄마가 골라주신 어떤 옷이든 저는 입어야 하고,

(*catch : 조건, 문제점 / whatever : 무엇이든지)

and she has to wear whatever i pick, when we go out to eat on Mother's Day.

제가 고른 게 어떤 옷이든 엄마도 그걸 입고 어머니의 날에 외식을 해야 해요.

(*eat out : 외식하다 / pick : 고르다)

Not gonna lie family, I'm a little nervous.

여러분 거짓말은 안 할게요. 저 좀 긴장돼요.

I haven't let my mom dress me since i was like five.

저는 한 다섯 살 때 이후로 엄마가 제 옷을 못 고르게 했거든요.

(*dress : 입히다)

2. 사실 이 가격이면 거저 주는 거나 마찬가지죠.

Situation #1

A   Now, that price tag might seem a little high to you,

자, 여러분은 이 가격이 조금 비싸다고 느낄 수 있지만,

(*price tag : 가격표)

But i can personally say, like all the All Saints leather jackets,

개인적인 의견을 말씀드리면, 다른 All Saints 가죽 자켓들과 마찬가지로

(*leather jacket : 가죽 자켓)

the attention to detail and the quality of the leather is exceptional.

이 자켓의 디테일과 가죽의 질은 그 어디에서도 보기 힘들거예요.

(*attention to detail : 사소한 부분까지 신경 쓴 것 / exceptional : 뛰어난, 특출난)

So honestly, it's actually a steal at that price.

그래서 솔직히 말하면, 이 가격이면 거저 주는 거나 마찬가지죠.

(*be a steal : 값이 너무 싸서 거저나 마찬가지이다)

If you're going on a date,

만약에 데이트하러 가시는 거라면,

(*go on a date : 데이트하러 가다.)

I'd pair this leather jacket with a crisp white dress shirt, like this one.

저는 이 가죽 재킷을 이렇게 깔끔하게 다려진 흰색 와이셔츠와,

(*pair : 둘을 짝짓다 / crisp : 잘 다려진, 깔끔한 / dress shirt : 와이셔츠)

and a nice, slim, skinny black tie,

얇은 블랙 넥타이와

and these great wool trousers,

이 예쁜 모직 바지와,

and lace-up black dress shoes.

끈 있는 검정색 구두와 같이 입을 것 같아요.

You're gonna look incredible.

정말 멋져 보이실 거예요.

3. 1+1 행사 중이어서, 세일할 때 온라인으로 샀어요.

Situation #1

A   I had a favorite pair of shoes for the month,

이번 달에 가장 마음에 드는 신발이 있었어요.

(*a pair of : 한 쌍의)

and they are these super cute black platforms from Target.

바로 Target에서 산 엄청 귀여운 이 검정 통굽 신발이에요.

(*super : 엄청난 / Target : 대형마트 브랜드 / platforms : 통굽 구두)

And they're by the brand Mossimo.

이 신발은 Mossimo라는 브랜드에서 나왔어요.

I don't even know what made me get these, 'cause i normally would not wear shoes like this,

평소에 이런 신발을 안 신어서 이걸 어쩌다 사게 된 건지도 잘 모르겠지만,

(*normally : 보통은)

but they're so comfortable because it feels like you're just wearing flat sandals.

그냥 평평함 샌들을 신고 있는 기분이 들어서 너무 편해요.

(*comfortable : 편한 / flat : 평평한)

But, they make you taller, and they're funky, and i like them.

하지만 키도 좀 높여주고, 멋지고, 마음에 들어요.

(*funky : 멋진, 파격적인)

And i got them on sale online, because they were BOGO.

그리고 1+1 행사 중이어서, 세일할 때 온라인으로 샀어요.

(*BOGO : 하나 사면 다른 것을 공짜로 주는 것 = buy one get one free)

Pretty excited about that, love a good deal.

그것 때문에 꽤 신났었어요, 저렴하게 사는 걸 정말 좋아하거든요.

(*deal : 거래 / pretty : 꽤)

4. 저렴할 때 구매하세요.

Situation #1

A   Uh and it's just simple, basic. Not too many uh, buttons or any crazy things like flashlights on it.

음 그냥 단순하고 기본적이에요. 버튼이 너무 많지도 않고 손전등처럼 이상한 것도 없어요.

(*flashlight : 손전등)

Uh, and the thing is, it was 23 dollars the other day, on Amazon.

그리고 사실, 며칠 전에 Amazon에서 $23이더라고요.

(*the other day : 며칠 전에)

So i tweeted it out, because i found it and it turns out to be really inexpensive.

그래서 제가 트위터에 올렸어요. 왜냐하면 이걸 찾았는데 엄청 저렴했으니까요.

(*turn out to be : ~판가름이 나다 / inexpensive : 저렴한)

Then right after i tweeted the link, the price dropped to 18 dollars.

그리고 제가 그 링크를 트위터에 올리자마자, 가격이 $18로 떨어졌어요.

So i guess what i'm saying is, get it while it's cheap.

그러니까 제가 하고 싶은 말은, 저렴할 때 구매하세요.

5. 가격 인하로 10달러에 팔고 있더라고요.

Situation #1

A   They tend to have some interesting things, 

여기는 주로 신기한 것들을 가져다 놓더라고요.

예를 들면, 이건..

This has just caught my eye.

이게 그냥 제 눈에 띄었어요.

(*catch one's eye : ~의 눈에 띄다, 눈길을 사로잡다)

It's a "Smart Business Card Reader"

이건 "스마트 명함 리더기" 입니다.

(*business card : 명함 / reader : 리더기, 인식기)

It let your computer read business cards.

당신의 컴퓨터가 명함을 읽을 수 있게 해줘요.

Ha, I don't even know, but it was marked down to 10 dollars.

하! 저도 뭔지 잘 모르겠지만, 가격 인하로 10달러에 팔고 있더라고요.

(*mark down : ~의 가격을 인하하다.)

Had to get it.

살 수밖에 없었어요.
