오늘은 할인 관련 표현들에 대해 배워보는 시간을 가지도록 하겠습니다.

할인 관련 표현

Situation #1

A   I actually already ordered Jacob's Christmas village stuff this year online, and he's going to love it.

사실 올해는 온라인으로 이미 Jacob의 크리스마스 마을 장식들을 주문해놨어요, 엄청 좋아할 거에요.

So i'm going to tell him right now that we're not buying anything and kinda break his heart.

그래서 지금은 아무것도 안 산다고 해서 조금 슬프게 할 거에요.

(*break someone heart : 슬프게 하다)

But tomorrow, i've wrapped up things.

하지만 내일은, 제가 포장해뒀죠.

(*wrap up : 포장하다, 싸다)

And here he comes right now.

이제 오네요.

B   Mommy?

엄마?

A   Oh, i don't know that i wanna buy it today, honey.

오늘은 사고 싶지 않은데

B   Why?

왜요?

A   Well, i just.. i don't know. That really wasn't the plan.

음 그냥..잘 모르겠어. 계획에 없었어.

C   How much is it on sale?

할인해서 얼마에요?

B   I'm really... i hope they don't sell out when we come next time.

아 정말... 다음에 왔을 때 품절이 아니면 좋겠다.

(*sell out : 품절되다)

A   I know. it's pretty cool, that's gas station.

그러게. 그 주유소 멋지다.

Situation #2

A   Sorry, i don't know where my backpack is from.

죄송해요, 제 가방을 어디서 산지 모르겠어요.

B   Yeah, everyone asks but she...

맞아요, 많은 분들이 물어보셨는데..

Her mom got it for her at the streets of Seoul somewhere.

얘네 엄머가 서울 길거리 어딘가에서 사다 주셨어요.

But it was a long time ago.

근데 엄청 오래전이에요.

But it fits everything and anything.

저 안에 모든게 다 들어가요.

But i don't think it's going to fit.

근데 안 들어갈 것 같아.

A   I know. I think i'm just going to take the shoes out though.

그니까. 그냥 신발만 꺼내려고.

B   Oh really? Ok, well then we'll show you what the shoes are.

아 진짜? 그럼 여러분한테 어떤 신발인지 보여드릴게요.

A   I'll just put the shoes in the bag.

그냥 신발을 가방에 넣을거야.

and then throw away the box.

그리고 박스는 버려야지

(*throw away : 버리다)

B   Throw away the box?

박스는 버린다고?

A   Yeah, i don't need the box.

웅, 박스는 필요없어.

B   Keep the tissue paper.

그 종이는 놔둬.

A   But just to show.

그냥 보여드리려고.

B   It's so cute. and she got student discount.

너무 귀여워요. 그리고 학생 할인도 받았어요.

Situation #3

A   We're doing what?

우리가 뭐 할꺼라고?

B   Taco salad~

타코 샐러드

A   Avocado, Dinner kit, that says tacos. I'm not gonna use this.

아보카도, 타코라고 쓰여있는 디너 키드. 이걸 쓰진 않을 건데요.

(*kit : (바로 만들 수 있도록 부품/재료들을 모아 놓은) 세트)

But, these are buy one get one free.

근데 얘네가 1+1(원플러스원) 이더라고요.

So, I'm a sucker for buy one get one free.

저는.. 1+1이면 사족을 못 쓰는 사람이라

(*sucker : ~에 사족을 못 쓰는 사람)

So this has really noting to do with dinner tonight.

그래서 이건 오늘 저녁이랑은 별 상관이 없지만

but i got one because i'm getting one free, so..

근데 공짜로 받는 거니까 하나 가져왔어요..

Situation #4 

A   And then, the last thing i got is this really cute dress.

그리고 마지막으로 이 이쁜 원피스인데요.

So here's how it looks like.

이렇게 생겼어요.

And it's pretty long. I think it's really cute.

그리고 생각보다 길어요. 정말 맘에 들어요.

I don't have church dresses, again.

말씀드렸다시피 저는 얌전한 원피스가 없어요.

And so i'm looking for some.

그래서 항상 찾고 있었어요.

And this one was really cute.

그리고 이게 이쁘더라고요.

Buy one, get one 50% off.

하나 사면 하나를 반값에 준댔어요.

That was the deal.

그게 할인 조건이었어요.
